# How refunds work

## When you get a refund

- The restaurant or Laayo cancels your order.
- You cancel before the restaurant accepts.
- Items were missing, wrong or badly damaged, and you reported it with photos.
- You paid, but the order was not placed because of a technical problem.

## Where it goes

Online payments are refunded to Laayo Money or to the original payment method. Refunds for cash orders go to Laayo Money.

## How long it takes

Refunds to Laayo Money are usually quick. Refunds to a bank or wallet can take up to 7 to 14 working days depending on the provider.

## When refunds don't apply

- A wrong address or phone number was given, or nobody was there to receive the order.
- A change of mind after the restaurant started preparing.
- Delays from weather, traffic or strikes.
